Bedtime for Pip

Pip got so snuggly this morning when he decided to take a nap between my pillows. Doesn't he look lovely!

Cozy Pip

After this unseasonably cool weather Pip decided it was time to wear a jumper. He chose a rather fetching multi-coloured spot out of his clothes basket and doesn't he look smart!

Pip the Scamp

Pip has been getting up to all sorts of mischief lately. He is so full of character and makes us laugh all the time. Just last night he climbed into his toy basket and used it as a step to help him scale the bookshelf. I found him sitting on the second shelf very proud of himself! I have uploaded one picture and a video for you to see his accomplishments.

I'm ready for my close up!

Gorgeous Pip likes nothing more than a pampering session now. He sat very still while I groomed him and even let me clip his toe nails. What a beautiful boy! Pip LOVES a shower and begs for one whenever he hears a shower being turned on. The other day he even went to fetch his shampoo bottle for me...gorgeous!

Now take me down the high street to show off!



Ooh Pip's in for a treat!

We thought we'd try Pip with a different treat this week. Before it was even cooked we knew his chicken livers were going to be a big hit! Pip sat by the stove wagging his tail and sniffing the air. He didn't move until they were done! Lucky Pip got to sample some straight away...yum!

Pips new favourite spot

Pip has now chosen to spend most of his time asleep on one particular sofa cushion. He gets quite disgruntled when someone else wants to sit there and squeezes himself on too.

Oh Pip does like to be beside the seaside!

What a lucky boy! Pip has spent the day at the beach and thoroughly enjoyed himself. Unfortunately neither of us remembered to take his lunch...oh no! Fortunately for Pip there was a hot dog stand...yum yum! Will he ever eat his normal food again? He had the biggest run on the sand and was desperate to make friends with a very uninterested whippet. He is now sleeping off all of the fun.

Pip looks very handsome in his bow today...it took an empty jar of peanut butter to get him to sit still!

Pips long flowing coat!

Pip's hair is growing and growing. It won't be long before he needs a trip to the groomers. He finished his first round of training classes this week and did very well in his final exam! He now knows how to: sit and wait; lie down and stand back up again, stay while we leave the room and walk nicely on his lead. We are also teaching him: spin around; roll over and 'do your dancing' ...but that's just for us (I'm not sure that his trainer would approve!!)

I will do anything for chicken!

The Royal Wedding

Pip (Prince Philip Arthur Edward Louis) was proud to have so many royal names as he watched the royal wedding and was very surprised to find he shared most with Prince William!

Pip had a splendid day in the sunshine and his beautiful Easter bonnet kept the sun off his head!

Lucky Pip had another exciting day. What a clever boy for walking off his lead again! At first he wasn't sure about the sheep but soon got used to them. He even had his first drink from a stream.

Pip at the seaside

Pip had a lovely first adventure to the seaside today.  He enjoyed burrowing in the sand and wore himself out so much that he slept soundly in my handbag whilst I ate fish and chips-what a good boy! His cousin James took such good care of him all day, I bet Pip is going to miss him tomorrow.

What an exciting afternoon. After MUCH persuasion we finally let Pip walk off his lead with the big dogs. A big thank you to Jackie and Phil, we wouldn't have done it without you!

Spent a lovely afternoon with Natasha and her lovely children. Pip has finally met his match...I even think Alex outran him at times! Pip hasn't woken up since we got home. He went for a drink of water and fell asleep before he had finished!

I never knew how hard sewing could be until Pip came along. He loves the foot pedal and tries to bite it every time I lift my foot off. Today he 'helped' me to make some bunting...clever boy! He particularly liked dragging the finished product around the floor...I shan't be selling that one then!

Pip helped me to sort out my wardrobe today. He managed to silently climb into a bag of clothes and fall asleep. I looked for him everywhere!

Pip's first REALLY sunny day

Prince Pip has been in his element in the sunshine. He enjoyed lunch in the beer garden today and was adored by many and had a lovely play in the evening sun last night.

Mother's day

Pip had a lovely day in the sunshine. Flowers and cuddles from Pip...we have a very happy Mummy! We also got a gorgeous text message from 'Pip'  (thank-you Auntie Kerry, Pip very much enjoys his walks with you each day!)

Practising being cute

Pip's tail is now so long that it curls over into a lovely 'c' shape on his back. He is in a very lovely mood today. Though this may change as we need to 'do' his eyes. Poor Pip! He has been excellent on his lead and harness today and has done 'come here' many times :)

The big sleep continues!

Pip has continued to fall alseep anywhere he can today...we're blaming daylight saving.  He has had a lovely run in the garden inbetween snoozes.  He has even tried out his new harness.  We had to buy a kitten one as the puppy ones were FAR too big, the kitten one is still rather loose on him.

The Big Sleep

Pip is growing before our very eyes. I'm sure I watched his tail stretch this morning! He is choosing anywhere and everywhere to have a little nap. It's getting quite tricky to find him. Luckily he's now learnt 'come here'...what a clever boy! He even knows his name. We think he might be gifted :)

This morning Pip was so excited for his breakfast that he climbed into his food cupboard and sat down. Just when I think he can't get any cuter...

Pip's grooming session

Well that was tricky! We had to wait until Pip was very sleepy until we put the scissors anywhere near him. His eyes have been getting a little pink around the edges so a trim was in order. He did look a little like an owl afterwards! But it's all settled down nicely now...phew!

Although he hasn't enjoyed the rain one little bit, Pip is now starting to get the hang of 'going' outside. Clever boy! He is getting more and more adventurous, exploring all over now. When he doesn't like the wet grass he comes and sits on our feet...so cute! I love that it takes all his might to do a run, he starts shaking from his tail before he takes off!
